UP & AVPL Launch Village Drone Centres to Boost Rural Entrepreneurship

In an important step toward its goal of establishing “a drone entrepreneur in every Indian village,” AVPL International has partnered with the Uttar Pradesh government to establish Drone Planet Suvidha Kendras throughout the state’s rural areas. AVPL’s national rural empowerment strategy, which aims to incorporate drone technology into agriculture and livelihood creation, is strengthened by this expansion.

The program will be run under the CM Yuva Udhami Yojana, which will provide a drone unit, professional drone training, and a structured business plan for the program’s chosen recipients. It is anticipated that the program will provide rural women and youth with new opportunities to start sustainable drone-based businesses in crop spraying, precision farming, agricultural input retail, and digital advisory services.

AVPL International’s continuous rural push is strengthened by this partnership with Uttar Pradesh. With the help of 70 Centers of Excellence that concentrate on drone deployment and skill development, the company currently operates in 16 states. AVPL is ready to assist thousands of rural business owners in implementing cutting-edge technologies, increasing agricultural productivity, and creating new revenue streams now that Uttar Pradesh has joined. The new Suvidha Kendras‘ ground-level construction is scheduled to start shortly.

Global Insights Powering India’s Drone Growth

The leadership team of AVPL International has been actively interacting with international innovation hubs as part of its dedication to enhancing India’s drone capabilities. Deep Sihag Sesai, co-founder and chairman, is presently in Israel investigating cutting-edge drone systems, agri-automation equipment, and innovations in precision farming. The goal of these exchanges is to close critical gaps in local implementation and return top-notch knowledge to India.

Dr. Preet Sandhu previously represented the company at the Dubai Airshow and during a trip to Romania, where the team met top drone manufacturers and tech experts. Enhancing India’s after-sales ecosystem, guaranteeing spare part availability, bolstering maintenance support, and creating specialized drone service networks were the main topics of discussion. AVPL’s long-term vision for a more dependable and scalable drone infrastructure in India is currently being shaped by the lessons learned from these international engagements.

Replicable Rural Model Designed for Scale

AVPL International is becoming a major force behind the adoption of technology in rural areas with its entry into Uttar Pradesh. The Drone Planet Suvidha Kendra model will provide a variety of services and is designed for large-scale replication, such as:

  • Support for precision farming and drone spraying
  • Programs for training and certification for women and youth in rural areas
  • Field advisory and digital agronomy
  • Retail last-mile Agri-input
  • Drone services are driving new business opportunities.

By increasing yields, reducing input costs, and enhancing farm safety, these centers seek to assist farmers in making the shift to contemporary, sustainable farming methods.

AVPL International’s co-founder and managing director, Dr. Preet Sandhu, outlined the company’s vision, pointing out that equipping every village with a drone entrepreneur moves India closer to a time when technology-driven agriculture is the standard.

Fostering a Future-Ready Rural Drone Economy

AVPL International is leading India into a new era of drone-enabled rural development through its growing network, strategic government partnerships, and international collaborations. The company thinks that the next agricultural revolution in India will revolve around precision agriculture, which will be backed by regional business owners. AVPL continues to create an inclusive ecosystem where farmers, young people, and village-level service providers can all profit from drone-driven innovation as it expands its reach throughout states.
